This collection is a product of an artistic partnership between artists Annette Rolston and Mike Fenton. Their expertise in fine art enables them to combine detailed drawing skills with a unique range of decorative imagery. This imagery celebrates nature, animals and plants with a strong influence from their rural Norfolk surroundings.
They use the traditional skills of hand-carving lino blocks and printing with a traditional printing press onto fabrics. All the lino blocks are seperate motifs which can be combined to make different images, and also coloured individually to make a unique combination of printed blocks and colours. They are then made by them into a cushion or lampshade, and the fabrics and cushion pads are sourced as locally as possible.
The images, colours. size and shape can be specified by you to suit your particular individual interior colour scheme. So if you have a lamp base needing a beautiful, tailor-made, unique lampshade, please bring it along and they will be able to help you select the perfect size, shape and colours to enhance your home.
